Chocoudh is the meeting point of two worlds: the European gourmand tradition and the oud-driven perfumery of the Middle East. It opens with saffron and cinnamon over a whisper of lavender, an aromatic spice cloud that prepares the palate for what follows.
The heart is unmistakable — real cocoa richness, dark and slightly bitter, tempered by powdery orris and the green sweetness of narcissus. It smells edible without ever becoming a dessert, which is the hardest balance to strike in a gourmand composition.
Underneath, caramel melts into oud, amber and cashmere woods. The oud is smoky rather than medicinal, and the cashmere accord gives the drydown a soft, almost textile quality against the skin. Longevity is long and the trail is warm, which makes Chocoudh especially compelling in cold weather.
